I am 6'2" and 155 lbs and ordered this dress in a medium but probably would have been fine too with a small. I wasn't sure from the description, but this is a complete wrap dress, meaning there's lots of flexibility in size (I had worried the small would be too tight at my waist if it wasn't adjustable). The waist line fit me perfectly which is rare! Because I ordered the medium, there wasn't much of a slit and the dress could be wrapped more tightly (i.e. conservatively) around my chest. What I like though is that if you loosen the tie in the back, the front cross becomes looser/ sexier. I like that there is this option to change how the dress looks (and to tighten it for dancing!). Overall great quality. As said in other reviews, the fabric is heavy which I prefer and I still found it quite breathable for being at a hot outdoors wedding. I hand washed it after, and was able to get a small stain out this way, so am extra happy with the fabric.

STUNNING COLOR but not what I expected

This color is gorgeous!! I really adore the color and have been looking all over for dresses this color. Conceptually, this dress had everything I wanted: open back and modest leg exposure (according to like one picture on the site lol) without it looking like I'm going out clubbing. So I was very excited to get my hands on this. Unfortunately, maybe how my body is shaped?, the dress was overwhelming on me and looked like I belonged in a choir - albeit a very beautifully dressed choir. I'm 5'4" and wear 27-28 in pants and I tried both S and M and both worked but S was better for me. The leg exposure doesn't happen until I sit down and I wanted some leg to show while walking/standing. While I would've kept the dress cause it is beautiful, unique, very well made (material has some weight to it FYI) and classy, I just couldn't justify spending this much on a dress I'm not in love love love with.

Not for me

the weight of the dress was way heavier then I had thought and was going be too hot for east coast summer wedding. Looking at the sizing chart based on measurements 5.4 and curvy, and an athletic 150lbs I ordered a medium and I should have ordered a small, the waist tie was too low for my waist that caused gapping at the bust and made me have to tie the back neck strap at the tightest option. Im glad I brought a just in case dress cause this just wasn't for me, think I would be more inclined to wear for a winter wedding if the waist is notably higher in the smaller size. Will be returning.

Engagement Photo Perfection

I wore this dress for my engagement photos. The color was perfect for the timing of our photos and wedding (both in September), and the lightness and cut of the fabric moved beautifully in the breeze. We took our photos along the cliffs/shoreline in San Diego, and the color and movement were stunning against the backdrop. The cut of this dress, with the deep v-neck, tie waist, and open back, are particularly flattering, and I have received so many compliments on our photos.

Stunning Dress

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I almost ended up having a few of my bridesmaids wear it, but when I didn't, I bought it for myself. The material feels high quality and the color is as pictured. I should have sized down, but I like the dress so much that I'm going to keep it and just get it altered. I am 5'2, with around a 27-28" waist, and an athletic build. The top is too long for my short torso, but the dress hits perfectly at floor length.

PERFECT for fall bridesmaids dresses

I chose this as my bridesmaids dresses for my wedding a few weeks ago, and people were RAVING about how gorgeous the color was, how it wasn't a traditional chiffon bridesmaid dress, and I had multiple people ask my bridesmaids where the dress was purchased. The fit is great for any body type. We did get all of the dresses hemmed so it was more of a midi length rather than tea length, but that was just my bridesmaids' preference! I love the "unbridal" vibe. My friends all said how comfortable the dress was and that they would wear again in a heartbeat.
