I wore this for my wedding recently (I had wanted the white but it was sold out) I'm not mad though, this colour is beautiful and elegant and I'll be able to wear it again and again for different events. We had an outdoor wedding in December (in Texas) so it was the perfect weight. The material feels so luxourious. I'm 120lbs, 34" Bust 28" Waist and 37" Hip - I wore size S but think I could also have sized down to a XS as I'm pretty flat chested. The fit felt wonderful and gave me space to move - the slit was not at all prominent (I think it would have been more so in an XS). I'm 162cm tall and the dress came to just above my ankles. One thing I will note is that the dress does crinkle easily so best to dress at the location if the drive is long - our wedding destination was about an hours drive and the dress was crinkled in my lap and also had indents on my butt from the car seat - it does steam easily though!

Beautiful dress, but not the right fit

I ordered this dress for an upcoming wedding. I was super impressed with the weight and feel of the fabric, and I thought the ivory color was beautiful, but it fit me really oddly. I’m an athletic build, pretty straight up and down and carrying a little extra weight in the middle, and while this dress fit my waist and hips well, it was way too small in the chest (which is weird, because I’m a 36B and usually have the opposite problem!). It may have actually been that I needed a larger size in order for the wrap to be properly distributed across my body, if that makes sense (maybe it was actually too small for my waist and took up too much fabric in that area, leaving not enough to fully wrap around my chest?), but I felt like it was already a very relaxed, robe-like look at the size I ordered. I worried it would just look frumpy in a larger size. I concluded it just wasn’t the right fit/style for my body type, but I love Whimsy & Row and was definitely impressed with the quality of the garment.

Beautiful

This dress looks and feels beautiful, especially the open back detail! The fabric is just heavy enough and feels luxurious, and the tie is super flattering. I just wish it came in a sleeveless version!
