Meet the Florist — Field of Roses

In April, we set up a makeshift backyard wedding to set the scene for our Wedding Collection Launch — and frankly, it might as well have been a real wedding. It was stunning! We worked with local Ventura florist Heidi Rosenfield, of Field of Roses, who brought our faux reception to life. Scroll through for all the dreamy floral pics and some #ProTips from Heidi herself.
How did you find yourself in the Floral Industry?
A friend of mine who is a floral designer asked me to work for her after I had my baby and she said she automatically knew I would have a knack for it!
What are your favorite and least favorite flowers to work with?
Least favorite?
Alstroemerias (here's a google image search in case you're interested)
Any LA flower market tips?
Go as early as possible and get a cart!
Favorite botanical garden or flower viewing walks in LA?
Not in LA but the flower fields in Carlsbad in Spring are TO DIE FOR!
Is it okay to forage wildflowers?
Yes! As long as it’s not private property or endangered wildlife state park.
We need to know…Where do you find inspiration when making arrangements?
Inspired by other talented designers on IG such as East Olivia and Tulipina
What fresh flowers do you like to keep in your home (if any?)
Peonies! Or Roses of any type!
Thank Heidi!
