About Our Fabric
Raw Silk - is a short fiber left over from spinning silk, giving this type of silk an organic raw texture that we love. This non-wrinkling fabric is the strongest natural textile in the world and is built to last! Made of natural protein fiber, silk consists of fibroin (a protein that certain types of insect larvae secrete to make cocoons). Most silk is created from Bombyx mori larvae, which are worms that live on mulberry trees. Not only is silk timeless, it contains antibacterial properties and is flame retardant.
